The Foodie
A true Golden Retriever - Comet LOVES food. It's a good thing he loves exercise too. He enjoys swimming and going for walks. He has a great nose if you're ever missing something edible
- he will find it for you.
This big dope is the sweetest and a real happy go lucky kind of boy.
He loves to snuggle up for cuddles on the bed at night and is quite happy to hog the bed and keep you warm.
Bob
The Brave Heart
We are not always lucky enough to raise all our dogs from birth or 8 weeks old but at least we are lucky that they are brought into our lives at some stage in their lives.
Bob came to us in a time when I feel he needed us and we needed him. Isn't it funny how the universe works sometimes??! He gave us the chance to show him, he could trust us and also showed us his beautiful, resilient, adaptable, brave personality.
This guy has proved over and over how dogs are amazing creatures and that we are the ones so privileged to have them living with us.
He's the most easy going, friendly, gentle, tolerant soul and another big Lion in the looks department with a heart of pure gold and compassion.
Hudson
The Majestic Lion
Hudson (Handsome Hudson or Huddy as we call him) knows how to make an entrance and turn heads everywhere is goes. His beauty and the way he naturally carries himself is something special to witness! But once you get to know this gorgeous boy, you realise his personality outshines even his looks!! He's loving, adventurous, loyal, gentle, curious, and the most easy going soul you'll ever meet. (Very similar to his sister Honey.)
Chance
He's sexy and he knows it...
From the very start, this gorgeous boy has been the "popular kid at school" and trust me, he knows it. Good at all sports and posing for the camera. But not once has he let it go to his head. Chancey boy is still our down to earth, playful, slightly silly boy who keeps everyone laughing.
Thanks to the way his breeder and us raised him, he has the perfect balance of fun, confidence and manners. He loves a good zoom around the yard and always happy to keep up with anyone else ready to challenge him but when its time to switch gears and settle he's got that side covered too. The perfect mix!
He softens instantly around children and this is a natural trait that couldn't be taught. He's the kind of dog that makes people say
"I want one like him!!" and we don't blame them.
Radar
The Heart Healer
Radar named after the sweet character from the TV show 'Mash' that always put others first. He's a very human focused family member that is happiest right by our, or our visitors sides.
He's quick to win the hearts of everyone that meets him - even the non dog lovers. Another gentle boy that you wouldn't expect to have sweet protective instincts from such a young age but watching him will melt your heart! He loves to run and play with the big dogs, but if he spots his humans, he will sneak away from the game to soak up some cuddles.
Banks
The Brick
My goodness, if there was ever a puppy that stuck in my mind, it was this guy.
From such a young age, Banks reminded me so much of his grandpa as a puppy, which is exactly why I just couldn’t let him go. There was something about him that made me feel like I needed to keep him in our program and see what he grew into.
For that first year, I kept everything crossed so tightly, hoping he would go on to pass all of his health testing — and I’m so happy to say that he did.
Banks has grown into everything I hoped he would be. He absolutely loves to play and have fun, but he also has that all-important off switch and is more than happy to settle when it’s downtime.
He’s confident, happy and incredibly comfortable in himself. He loves being involved in whatever is going on and has such a fun, cheeky personality. And he is most definitely a ladies man.
One of the things I love most about Banks is how balanced he is. He has that playful, outgoing side without being over the top, and that lovely ability to just relax and be part of the family when nothing exciting is happening.
Watching him grow from the puppy into the beautiful boy he is today has been pretty special. He reminds me so much of why I retained him in the first place, and I’m incredibly excited to see what he brings to the next generation of Crupicoo Goldens.
Sometimes you just get that feeling about a puppy. Banks was definitely one of those puppies for me.
We are always happy to welcome families to come and meet our adult dogs. However, please keep in mind that the majority of our breeding dogs live with their wonderful guardian families.
Our Guardian Program allows each of our dogs to have the individual family home, love, attention and lifestyle they deserve, rather than living their lives simply as breeding dogs.
Because of this, not all of our adult dogs will be here or available to meet at any given time. Where possible, though, we are more than happy for families to meet the dogs who are here with us and get to know the beautiful temperaments behind our puppies.
